Operation Wildcat - Mechanicsburg, PA We have an ongoing need for Volunteers. The committee's first task was to identify the needs to be met.

Just a couple of hours each month will touch the hearts of many. --- For assistance from Operation Wildcat, please contact your child’s guidance counselor.--- The Mechanicsburg Area School District PTOs and Parent Advisory Committee members began Operation Wildcat to pool the resources of the community to help local students and families in need. The committee met with school nurses, principals and guidance counselors in order to begin to determine the needs of the community. District administration has provided a storage site for Operation Wildcat at Elmwood Elementary School. With the support of the school board, district administration and staff, Operation Wildcat is working to help to pool the MASD community resources to help local families in need on an on-going basis. Join us Friday, October 23rd, and Saturday, October 24th at Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church. Shop a huge selection of items, plus a separate book room, bake sale, and raffle baskets.

Our first of two Project Glam Open Houses was held on Sunday, August 30th, from 1–3 p.m. in the Mechanicsburg Middle School lobby. Nine volunteers from Mechanicsburg Community Church helped sort and organize donations and prepare the viewing area.

Six students attended the event and selected three dresses, two pairs of ladies’ shoes, makeup and nail decals, one men’s jacket, one pair of pants, one shirt, and three ties.

We are looking forward to our next Project Glam Open House on September 27th from 1–3 p.m. at MMS!

Project Glam’s first Homecoming Open House will be held on Sunday, August 30, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at MMS.

This event is open to all MASD students. Make this your first stop before you shop!

Please note: This open house is for students looking for homecoming attire only. One item per student, please.
