From superheroes to farm-fresh fun, Knox County Schools Nutrition Program is proving that there’s no limit to the creativity you can bring to the cafeteria! 🌾✨ Congratulations to Knox County Schools Nutrition Program, the TSNA August District of the Month! 🎉

After kicking off August with a team-wide meeting to get everyone ready for a new year, their schools wasted no time making mealtime exciting for students. One school went full Marvel with a Spider-Man-inspired “Brand New School Year” theme, while another brought the farm to the cafeteria with farm-themed decorations and fresh vibes. And they’re just getting started! 👀

Of course, the fun doesn’t stop at the decorations. Their team is serving up scratch-made favorites like creamy mac and cheese alongside plenty of fresh fruits and veggies to keep students fueled for a day of learning. 🧀🍎🥦

Creative experiences. Delicious meals. A team that cares. That’s why ! ❤️

Strong leadership starts with coming together! ✨ This week, TSNA brought our Board of Directors together in Franklin for a board orientation as we prepare for another great year of serving Tennessee’s school nutrition professionals. 📚🍎

It was a great opportunity to connect, learn more about our roles, and make sure our board is ready to hit the ground running! We’re grateful for the time, energy, and leadership this group brings to TSNA and to school nutrition across Tennessee. 👏

Here’s to another year of collaboration, leadership, and making sure ! 💙

Tennessee has lost one of its brightest lights. 💔 Dolly Parton was so much more than a Tennessee icon. Through her generosity, kindness, and lifelong commitment to children, she helped generations of young people dream bigger, learn more, and believe in what was possible. Her Imagination Library alone has put millions of books into the hands of children, beginning right here in Tennessee.

For the past two years, TSNA has had the privilege of ending our Annual Conference at Dollywood, creating memories that we know our members will carry with them for years to come. This photo from our 2026 Annual Conference feels especially meaningful today.

Thank you, Dolly, for loving Tennessee and its children so well. Your legacy will continue to inspire us. ❤️

Did you know??
We use lettuce that is hydroponically grown right here in the Tri Cities! We happily partner with Green Pastures Farm to serve farm fresh lettuce at all our schools! 🥬🥬
