For this Ashburn master bathroom, our goal was create a retreat; a spa-like experience our clients didn’t need to leave home for.

From the curbless shower and heated floors to the natural textures and custom features, it’s a space that feels calm, luxurious, and effortless to live in.

PROJECT REVEAL | Mudroom + Pantry

This space originally had three jobs: mudroom, laundry room, and pantry. While it checked all the boxes on paper, it left our clients with limited storage and a cluttered entry that never felt organized.

After relocating the laundry upstairs (see Part 1!), we transformed this space into a dedicated mudroom with custom built-in cubbies, wood bench seating, and a full-height pantry with roll-out shelving for effortless organization.

Now, instead of walking into laundry baskets and pantry overflow, they’re welcomed home by a space where everything has its place.

This mudroom is just one chapter of a much larger story. PROJECT REVEAL | Upstairs Laundry Room

This home originally had an oversized upstairs guest bedroom and a cramped mudroom and laundry downstairs. By thoughtfully reworking the floor plan, we created a dedicated upstairs laundry room while still maintaining a comfortable guest bedroom with a queen bed and generous closet.

Every detail was designed with function in mind: front-loading machines under continuous countertops, a farmhouse sink, built-in ironing board, hidden trash pull-out, and a long hanging rod.

Finished with vertical shiplap, warm wood countertops, and soft green cabinetry, this hardworking space proves that laundry rooms can be just as beautiful as the rest of the home.
And the best part? Moving the laundry upstairs allowed us to completely transform the main-floor mudroom into a spacious mudroom and pantry... but that’s a reveal for Part 2.

A quiet morning coffee, a holiday meal, or a game night with friends that linger for hours. This nook was designed for all of it. ☕️

We layered cozy, slipcovered banquette seating with rich wood tones, woven textures, and a curated gallery wall to make the space feel bright, grounded, and lived-in in the best way.
