Saturday is getting closer!!! Dance at the Hall uptown. The Flatland Band is there to sing with and dance too. Doors open at 7, Music starts at 8pm. Help us celebrate the Mt Hope Twp.. Hall's 100th Birthday. BYOB

Ok Kiddos! The Mr. Hope Twp. Community Hall is in search of the old business names around town. We have something brewing but need some help getting this up and going.
Please post if you have any, like Houlihan's Drug Store. The McLean Hardware by the post office now, the vet's at the end of Necessary's lane. Starkey I think. The Dairy Barn across from Horne's. Beauty Shops, all of Shorty's, below the old bank, the white bldg with Mrs. Deatricks Ceramic Shop behind Shorty's where the Vill office is now, uptown on the corner where the Dr Office was, Dixie.
Gene Hawkins Garage. The Restaurant uptown, Buck & Louise Smith's, Struck Truck Service, Westerfield Hauling, Edwards Custom Shelling, Lunde's and then Rothrocks Implement. There are more, we need names amd pics or names to find pics

Larry Terrell, son Travis and Grandson Kaine are here taking down the 2 trees in front the ash borers have killed. Pretty melancholy day for me, Dad planted them in '64. Larry is in the bucket.

Randy Struck's surgery has been moved up to Monday. He is in good spirits today!

I just spoke with Tim Struck, Randy's surgery us set for next Tuesday. 3-4 by-pass, they will know more when they get in there. They are keeping somewhat sedated to keep him calm right now. Will keep us posted. Will have his mailing address at home to send cards as this is private.
