Meet Ms. Grace, our Sprigs teacher 🌱

Ms. Grace is a visual fine artist, homeschooling mother of two, and longtime educator of preschool and kindergarten-aged children.

She loves weaving creativity, nature, and play into her work with young children.

She is excited to nurture our Sprigs students as they explore, create, and discover the world around them. 🌿

Meet Ms. Georgeanna, our Poppies teacher 🌸

Ms. Georgeanna is a theatre artist, educator, and homeschooling mother of four who brings a love of creativity and storytelling to the classroom.

A Butler University graduate and Artistic Director of React, she has spent years working with children through theatre and the arts.

Homeschooled herself from K–8, she now homeschools her own children and is excited to bring imagination, movement, and meaningful learning to our Poppies students this year. 🌿

Meet Ms. Nelly, our Goldenrod teacher 🍂

Ms. Nelly comes to Goldenrod with 11 years of homeschooling experience and a deep appreciation for learning that is thoughtful, hands-on, and connected to the world around us.

She is also well-versed in the fiber arts and brings a love of handwork and making into the classroom.

This year, our 10–12-year-old Goldenrod students will journey through botany, geology, mapmaking, astronomy, ancient civilizations and empires, exploration, and more—weaving together stories, handwork, and meaningful academic study.

Ms. Nelly is excited to guide our oldest students through a year of discovery and growing independence while holding onto the wonder and rhythm at the heart of a Waldorf-inspired education. 🌿

We had a wonderful time with Beekeeper Mr. Ross. We wrapped up our bee study by making beeswax wraps. 🐝
