🚒🔥 What a fun day at Vanguard!🔥🚒

A BIG thank you to the Mccomb Fire Department for spending time with our students and teaching them all about fire safety! Our students had the best time learning, exploring the fire truck, and of course, getting a special visit from Sparky! 🐾

We all had a BLAST! Thank you, McComb Fire Department, for taking the time to visit Vanguard and making this such a fun and memorable experience for our students! 💜

💜 Different days. Same direction.

At Vanguard, the school week looks a little different - and that’s what makes it so special!

Two days are spent on campus learning alongside teachers and classmates. Three days, learning continues at home with teacher-directed lessons and the people who know them best - their families!

Two days on campus. Three days at home. One connected week of learning. That’s a week at Vanguard. 💜✨

Fall officially started this week! 🍂
The weather felt a little more like fall today… now if we could just get those temperatures to drop a few more degrees! 🤣

Our kids love any chance they get to head outside, hit the playground, play a few games, and just have fun with their friends! We’re pretty sure outside time is a Vanguard favorite!🤣💜

There’s no better way to share the heart of Vanguard than through the families who experience it firsthand!💜

For this Vanguard parent, it’s the specialized instruction, small classroom sizes, and Christ-centered environment that have helped her child thrive.

Every child learns differently, and we love creating an environment where students can be known, supported, and encouraged as they grow.

What exactly does University-Model® mean? 💜

It’s the best of both worlds - combining the best attributes of traditional schooling with learning at home into one intentional educational model.

At Vanguard, professional educators who love the Lord partner with parents who know their child best. Students learn on campus two days each week and continue at home three days a week with plans provided by their teachers.

What if there was a different way to do school?💜

One of our parents said it best: “It’s the best of both worlds.”

The University-Model® combines the best attributes of traditional schooling with the best attributes of homeschooling, integrating them into one unique model — with professional educators leading the way and parents remaining intentionally involved.

The result? A quality, rigorous, cost-effective education that gives families more time together and parents more opportunity to impart their own faith and values to their children. 🤍

It’s not homeschool. It’s not traditional school. It’s the University-Model® — and it’s what makes Vanguard different.
