BREAKING NEWS: SU LAW GETS 100%
Silliman University achieved a passing rate of 100% among first-time takers in the 2020-2021 Bar Examinations, Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen said in a press conference Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
Leonen, who was also the chairman of the recent Bar exams, said they ranked law schools according to the passing rates of their first-time takers, as repeaters have been taken into account in previous exams.
The university belonged to the third tier of performing law schools in the country, having 11 to 50 takers.
Of these 61 law schools in the third tier, Silliman was among the top seven that achieved a 100 percent passing rate, Leonen added.
The Supreme Court also said that out of 11,402 law graduates who took the Bar exam, 8,241 passed, with a national passing rate of 72.28 percent.
