Congratulations to Memorial High School student Gustavo Escandon on becoming a Powerlifting State Champion! 💪
As a student in the Automotive Technology program at McHi CTE, Gustavo continues to prove that CTE students can excel in every arena. His hard work and dedication have also earned him scholarship offers from several colleges.

McAllen High School Class of 2026 Valedictorian, Anika Guerra, was recognized during the McHi Scholarship & Awards Ceremony by BPA sponsor Mrs. Enedelia Morelos for her dedication, leadership, and academic excellence. 💜💛
A proud McHi CTE student and BPA member, Anika received scholarship offers and admission into numerous prestigious universities and honors programs across the United States, including Rice, TCU Chancellor Scholar & Honors, UT Plan II Honors, UT Canfield Business Honors, Texas A&M Business Honors, SMU Cox Direct Business & Honors, Baylor Business Fellows, University of Florida, and Pepperdine.
Anika will continue her journey this fall at TCU University. 🎓✨

Thank you to U.S. Customs and Border Protection for visiting our McHi CTE law students during Career Day!
Students had the opportunity to learn about careers in law enforcement, daily responsibilities in the field, the training process, and the many career pathways available within CBP. They also got to ask questions and hear firsthand experiences from professionals working in the industry.
We appreciate our guests for taking the time to speak with and encourage our students as they continue exploring future careers in law and public service. 💜💛

Our students had the opportunity to learn firsthand about careers in law enforcement, the process of becoming a police officer, and the training and teamwork that come with the job. One of the highlights of the day was watching students compete to see who could gear up with breaching tools the fastest! 💥
Experiences like these give our students a real look into career pathways while building confidence, leadership, and hands-on skills. Thank you to the officers for taking the time to inspire the next generation! 💜💛
