We are incredibly proud of the past principal Tawanna Curry (even during her sickness and having to take a leave of absence, but keeping them lifted in her thoughts and prayers), Townsend Teachers/Staff, and students for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to growth! 💚💛

Our 2025–2026 School Performance Grade improved from an F to a D, showing that when mindsets shift, expectations remain high, and everyone works together, progress happens! This accomplishment belongs to our entire Townsend family. Every lesson taught, every intervention provided, every encouraging word spoken, and every effort made by our students helped move us forward.

We celebrate this progress, but we know the journey continues. Now we are headed toward that C! As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, we will remain focused, intentional, and committed to excellence every day. Townsend is moving forward! Townsend is growing! Townsend is SOARING!

🦅 From F to D…headed to a C!
💚💛 SPREADING OUR WINGS AND SOARING TO SUCCESS!
