First day of Still Life in Oils complete!
Here's a demo of a skull I did to show the process and potential of burnt umber and white. We focused solely on value and accuracy. We'll start adding multiple objects soon and then possibly move into a zorn palette on the final day.

Hello everyone!
We are closing our brick and mortar location.
All future classes will be held in the beautiful Lone Elm room at the Mattoon train depot.

It's been a dream of mine to operate a downtown shop on Broadway. Unfortunately, the necessity of having a dedicated location wasn't making logistical sense for the future of our business. Instead all classes will be held at the satellite location above.

This new chapter will offer us more freedom to make decisions based on educational value over financial returns to make ends meet.

With this move comes a redesigned curriculum plan for our adult classes moving from 4 week terms to 6 week terms. Kids classes will have their own term structure now as well. All classes will have an expanded class size limit.

We'd like to thank everyone for your continued support!

The Loan Elm Room is a private space in the Mattoon Train station just down the road from our building. To acces it, park in the train station parking lot and enter through the East doors facing the lot. The room will be just to your left from there
