Kids learn real skills — composition, lighting, storytelling — while building confidence and making friends along the way. It’s hands-on, it’s creative, and they walk away with photos they’re genuinely proud of.
Carolina Camera Club is the youth program of Framing The Future, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit — so every session also supports our mission of helping kids find their voice through visual arts.

Hello, Snappers! 📸
This is where it all started — the very first Camera Club by our creators!
Framing The Future began with a simple idea: every child deserves a chance to see the world — and themselves — through a creative lens. What started as an after-school club for my own daughters quickly became something bigger. As more kids joined in and discovered the magic of photography, one thing became clear: art can change the way children see themselves. It sparks confidence. It builds connection. It gives kids a voice.
Fall is coming, and with it, a new season of Camera Club. More kids, more cameras, more moments like this one. 🍂

Our second day of campers brought several new snappers and lots of fun games! I never get sick of seeing kids discovering photography and all they can create! 📸

Some snaps from our Tuesday camera camp. The fact that these were mostly first timers is truly blowing my mind!
In our intro camps, we really embrace unique angles, thinking outside of the box, textures, and finding small beauties where we are.
They did an amazing job! 📸
