Schools out for the Summer across our community! However, many families still struggle to provide meals for their families during the summer break.
Resources are available this summer to assist families who are struggling to provide breakfast and lunch for their children.
For the early part of summer, Blount County Schools will provide a free feeding program. The program provides free breakfast and lunch for all children 18 years and younger.

Thanks to the generous support of the Arconic Foundation, our school libraries are being transformed into dynamic learning hubs—designed to spark not only a love of reading, but also hands-on STEM exploration and creativity.
These refreshed spaces will give students more opportunities to collaborate, create, and truly engage with learning in meaningful ways.
We’re proud to partner with Arconic Foundation to strengthen our schools and inspire the next generation of learners right here in Blount County. 💙
Arconic Foundation has awarded $625,000 in grants to 20 East Tennessee nonprofit organizations. This investment supports programs that strengthen education, advance environmental sustainability, and address essential human needs across the region.
