TAC has been busy this week bringing the holiday cheer! Tonight they’re volunteering at the Piedmont Arts Christmas Tree Lighting in the Gravely-Lester Art Garden, serving hot chocolate and leading children through crafts.

Operation TAC Crafts Christmas was a roaring success! The council spent the evening making art history themed ornaments (to be added tomorrow) and decorating the lobby’s Christmas tree! Find these dynamic humans at the Christmas Tree Lighting on Thursday evening. 🎨🎄

TAC is having a spooktacular night! They participated in Uptown Trick or Treat with a particularly creepy table and then came back to the museum for cookie decorating and scary movies. Happy Halloween! 🎃🔮💀👻

TAC spent some time on Saturday organizing the classroom, consolidating supplies, and cleaning paint off the floor from previous classes and camps. Getting the space ready for the recently begun school year was a joy!

Layla Spencer has been a member of TAC since 2018, was a homeschooled and has graduated this spring with a Bachelor’s in Pyschology from ODU! Layla is a talented artist who won first place in the 2022 Expressions Student category , and has been a wonderful mentor to new TAC members. Her presence at meetings will be missed!
