In moments of despair, when shadows cast their gloom,
I turn to God and ask, "Why must I face this room?"
A question lingers heavy, in trials so severe,
Yet His gentle whispers offer solace to draw near.
"Why, oh Lord?" I cry, my heart burdened with dismay,
In the tapestry of trials, where dark threads hold sway.
He answers not with thunder, nor lightning bolts divine,
But in a still, small voice, His wisdom intertwines.
"Look back, dear child, on paths already trod,
See the footprints of grace, the hand of a loving God.
In the pages of your life, where joy and sorrow blend,
Find the ink of gratitude, let thankfulness ascend."
For He, the weaver of our stories, knows each thread's design,
The pain and the joy, the complexities entwined.
In asking why, He gently guides our gaze above,
To the canvas of blessings, to His unending love.
"Remember, my child, the sunrise after night,
The strength in your weakness, the restoration after plight.
Count the gifts bestowed, like stars in midnight's dome,
A celestial reminder, you're never truly alone."
So I shift my focus, from questions left behind,
To the symphony of blessings, in every note I find.
In the mosaic of memories, where His goodness brightly gleams,
I discover, in gratitude, the answer to my dreams.
For when the storms assail, and the winds of doubt blow wild,
God whispers through the chaos, "Focus, O my child.
On all the grace I've given, on the love that's always near,
In every trial faced, find the reasons to draw near."
