Summer Field Courses are a great way to get practical experience while continuing to work towards your degree!

UTM Ecology Club is one way for students to socialize with each other while sharing what they are learning with the general public!

Before the winter storm, the Ornithology Class was able to take a field trip to see Sandhill Cranes! Even caught a glimpse or two of Tennessee's State Bird - the Northern Mockingbird!

Dr. Greenwood’s Applied Ecology lab completed their last field trip of the fall semester with a visit to Pacer Pond!

The ZOOL 328: Natural History of the Vertebrates class visited Land Between the Lakes for a hike around Hematite Lake and an exciting visit to the Elk/Bison Prairie. This course is part a the minor in Natural History offered by the Department of Biological Sciences, UT Martin.

The Natural History of the Vertebrates (ZOOL 328) class collected photos of a nice variety of mammals on game cameras over the past few weeks!
