Mar Lee Art Room is designed to show off student work, list any up and coming events that have to do with art and to illustrate any ideas or concepts students are learning in the art room. The students at Mar Lee experience an art curriculum based on the New National Visual Arts Standards created by the National Arts Education Association, NAEA, and the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards,

NCCAS. Students in grades k-8 create original artworks, learn about the language of art, see and analyze art from different times, places and cultures, make connections between different art styles and their own community, make connections between art and other curricula, and develop an aesthetic appreciation for art.
