: What can people do to help monarchs recover?
Baum: To recover, monarchs will need an abundance of milkweeds and nectar sources. We need to get more milkweed and nectar plants in the ground, and we all need to contribute to this effort.
More information about the low population numbers can be found on the Monarch watch website
Monarch Watch

Let’s work to unleash our monk mindset and our inner peace and calm that we all have inside of us. From Think Like A Monk - get your copy www.thinklikeamonkbook.com

This Saturday at our monthly workshop (9:30 A.M. - Noon) we will have as special guest Kate Lewandowski, breathing coach, yoga teacher and bodyworker, who will be leading us in a special time of breathing practices. Kate is from Be Well a health center in Marquette and she and her husband Chris are known round the country for their work.
We will, of course, still begin our workshop with our Qi Gong exercises and a review of some simple forms. As is our tradition, a light brunch will be provided.
A last word on the corona virus (covid-19). Paul Lam, an internationally respected Tai Chi teacher reminds us this week in his regular newsletter that along with good practices of hygiene, the immune system is what finally keeps us well. That is exactly what Tai Chi seeks to address with its gentle movements and mindful breathing.
