On April 5, the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center is presenting a concert by the Hungarian folk group, Söndörgő, at Kaufman Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. The Center is offering 100 free tickets for this concert to NMU students. To get the tickets, students must go to the Beaumier Alumni Welcome Center front desk in Gries Hall. Guidelines are as follows:
1) Students must be registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours in the Winter 2019 semester. Students will need to show their student ID and proof of enrollment.
2) Students are limited to two tickets per person.

Acoustic folk jams are back!!! And now located right next to campus at the Hiawatha Music office on Third Street.
TRADITIONAL MUSIC JAMS
Because we can never get enough folk and traditional music, Hiawatha is proud to sponsor 2 regular open jam sessions! If you like to play, want to learn new songs, sing or just want that 'Festival' feeling, check these out:
Starting September 6th, each Thursday -7-9pm Hiawatha office 1015 N. Third (except 9/13/18 and 9/20/18)
Second Saturday each month 2-5pm at Peter White Public Library (September 8, October 13, November 10)
No need to register, just come on in! All levels welcome!
