On Yom HaShoah, we remember the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and honor the survivors and families forever shaped by its devastation.

Remembrance must inspire responsibility.

The Ferencz Institute for Ethics, Human Rights and the Holocaust is proud to serve as a sponsor for the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust’s Annual Gathering of Remembrance, hosted at Congregation Emanu-El of the City of New York in observance of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day). In a city with one of the world’s largest communities of Holocaust survivors, this annual tribute carries a powerful resonance that echoes across generations.

The program will feature music, remarks from Holocaust survivors and descendants, and a candlelighting ceremony.
