Steven Danaher AND NEW!!!! 71kg Low Kick WAKO Pan American Champion 🇺🇸🥇

There are moments as a coach that are difficult to put into words. This weekend was one of those moments. Watching my student, step into the ring at the WAKO Pan American Championships in Valparaíso, Chile, representing Team WAKO USA Kickboxing, and walk away as a 1st Place Gold Medalist is something I will hold dear to my heart for the rest of my life.

Steven, brother… it was an absolute honor to coach you and watch you achieve greatness.

Watching the entire WAKO United States team come together, fight together, support one another, and represent the greatest country on Earth 🇺🇸 was something I can’t fully put into words. To have been a small part of that experience was an incredible privilege, and it is something I will never forget.

Steven, you have always had a bright future ahead of you. But after today…

Keep being a great ambassador of the sport and our country, continue to be a leader and a honest example of hard work and dedication!

To all the coaches I had the opportunity to work alongside and learn from this weekend, THANK YOU. Being in your presence, watching how you coached and learning from your experience taught me so much and I will be a better coach because of it. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the team with you.

Fight Fit Family & Friends 🇺🇸🥊

Tomorrow, Steven Danaher will be competing in the WAKO Pan American Kickboxing Championships, representing Team WAKO USA Kickboxing! 🇺🇸

If you’ve been following Steven’s story, you know this week marks a major milestone in his kickboxing journey. For the past four years, Steven has worked relentlessly toward one goal: earning his place on the WAKO USA National Team and having the opportunity to represent our country on the international stage.

Now, that dream is becoming a reality. 🙏🥊🇺🇸

The tournament is scheduled to begin August 13th at 10:30 AM Eastern Time. At the moment, I’m not aware of a livestream link or Steven’s exact fight time. As soon as I have more information, I’ll share the link and approximate fight time in the comments below.

Jaycen…….Bravery, courage, and determination aren't always rewarded with victory, but without them, true success is never possible. Success isn't defined by a single win or loss, it's defined by the willingness to step forward when the odds aren't in your favor.

Taking a kickboxing match on just one week's notice showed real character. You accepted a challenge that many people would have turned down, and that takes heart. The result doesn't define you. The lessons you learned, the resilience you showed, and the determination to keep improving are what will shape the fighter you become. OSSs!
