Class - NC Concealed Handgun Course, required to apply for a NC Concealed Handgun Permit

This course is required to be successfully completed in order to apply for the NC Concealed Handgun Permit. This course can be completed by an certified CCH Instructor within NC, however the permit must be applied for in the county where you reside. Instructors must have either a law enforcement fi****ms instructor background or a NRA fi****ms instructor background. After completion of a specializ

ed Concealed Carry Instructor course these instructors may deliver the course material. There are many focused and subjects within the course but a large portion is dedicated to understanding the law regarding self-defense and the use of force. Protect This House Fi****ms currently provides training for individuals seeking to become Concealed Carry Permit Holders in the State of North Carolina. Further courses for basic and advanced handgun fundamentals are currently under development.

We have had a few folks reaching out, asking about our next concealed carry class. As you all know, our community has experienced a life changing event in Helene and is in state of rebuilding. This just shows the perseverance that we have in Western North Carolina, especially in Marion.

With that being said, we are hopeful that we may be able to start teaching our concealed carry classes again next year. As you can see below, our range was destroyed by a landslide. However, we do hope to work towards clean up/rebuilding and plan to continue to offer classes in the future. We will keep you posted as progress is made and future plans can be established.

Thank you to everyone who has attended our classes in the past and been supportive of what we have been doing over the years.
