This month on the 30th, we will have our Heritage Day at the Historic Carson House. Just to name a few things, Colonial Demonstrations. Like Broom Making, Tatting, Rug Hooking, Spinning, Colonial Games and more! There will be something for the whole family, adult games like Corn Hole, Horse Shoes, Silent Auctions. Kids will have a blast with Bouncy Houses, Ring Toss, Duck Pond, Obstacle Course, Face Painting. The family can enjoy Hay Rides together, Music, Dancing, Cakewalks. Your dinner is included with your Ticket Price. There will also be Hot Dogs served for the kiddos. Money made from this event goes directly back into the Carson House to keep it going for many more years to come! For your tickets please call the Historic Carson House at (828)724-4948. Ok guys so we're planning a lunch/play date and Nature Art Walk with McBride on Memorial day at the Fonta Flora Greenway behind Tom Johnson's. We're planning on meeting at 12:30 for lunch. There is a picnic shelter and port a johns there. I will post a link for directions for anyone that isn't sure how to get there. Please let us know if you can attend so that we don't leave anyone out of the Nature Art Walk.
