Learn to cook with Spring Ingredients 4.20 @ 5:30pm 🔗in bio 🥦
5 reasons to pick seasonal produce first:
1. It’s better for you. Picked at its peak and during its true season, means more nutrient-dense produce. It also means minimal storage between harvest & your plate.
2. It tastes better and has a better texture because it’s FRESH
3. Save $$$$ - fresh seasonal food doesn’t usually have to travel as far = less fuel cost & there’s usually an abundance of product which leads to sale prices
4. Better for the environment. Less travel = “lower carbon footprint. And growing food off season often requires extra energy to make it happen.
5. Keeps you in the natural rhythm of nature. We are all part of nature. Eating seasonally introduces us to different foods throughout the year leading to more diversity in our gut microbiome. Seasonal foods often have nutrients that are beneficial for that time of year keeping our immune systems healthy.

This is my friend Carmella. She wandered up to me on the beach in Mexico while I was doing yoga and we watched the sunrise together. She reminded me of the power of love, kindness, trust and gratitude for the gift of a brand new day. When we put these things together we can enact big changes for ourselves and those around us. Spring is the perfect moment to look forward and plant seeds of intention. What seeds would you like to plant? A career boost? Improved health? More peace? A dynamic crop of tomatoes? Whatever you desire, with curated intention, the future looks mighty bright. Join me in Joshua Tree 3/20-3/22 and plant your personal life garden for 2026. Link in bio.
