All the students worked really hard and I loved being back in the studio again!!! All the students had a great time learning a number from GUYS AND DOLLS!

It was this gorgeous show's birthday yesterday and lots of beautiful friends and colleagues were posting their memories of this iconic show. So here are mine...

CHICAGO the Musical was my dream job...My Mum first took me to watch the show in London when I was 11 years old. It was playing at the Adelphi Theatre on the Strand and I instantly fell in love! 😍
11 years later, I was on stage at the Cambridge Theatre in London, doing my final audition for the show.
I will never forget getting that phone call from my agent to say I'd got the job...I accidentally threw my cup of tea all over the table I was sat at, cried and called for my Mum to come and find me at work! I was over the moon!!!
Rehearsals began at Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden and I have never been in more pain than waking up the next day after a full day of 'All That Jazz' rehearsals. Spending hours in a very wide, deep, jazz 4th position for the first time...an absolute killer on the thighs!!!
Then came my first costume fitting...I was given the 'all-in-one fishnet'...I loved it!
Opening night came and my family were all there, watching me perform in my dream show.
Skip ahead to my 2nd contract and they were there again, this time to watch me as 'Velma Kelly'...aged 23, in my dream show, playing my dream role in the West End! ✔🤩

I will forever cherish this show and the amazing cast, band, crew and creative team!
Thank you CHICAGO, for all the incredible memories you gave me! ❤
