Hiring 3 positions! Assistant trainer/am barn help/working students.
I’m looking for someone to teach beginner lessons as I will be losing my awesome assistant. The applicant must work well with children and their parents. Must have great communication skills. Must have an understanding of equitation and starting beginners. This is a super easy and fun job that pays very well for part time work. The assistant trainer will need to possess trainers insurance too. I can help you with that. I need a committed and happy person for this position.

2. I need morning barn help: must have experience, no exceptions. 2-3 hours, working interview to demonstrate your skills will be required. This pays above all other barns in the area and is a very simple part time job. Must be able to work Wednesday am’s to start.

3. Looking to add a couple of working students from 14-18 after school, m-f. A working student is an un paid position. A working student gains experience in a very active lesson, training and show barn. They learn the ins and outs of management, care, basic first aid, tack, equipment, maintenance, course design, assist with lesson students typical and non typical etc. This is a great opportunity to learn responsibility and work ethic while being in a super fun environment and their happy place! I’m always happy to write reference letters for jobs, college applications, give volunteer hours, extra rides and if they want to take lessons and show I will take them to shows and waive my fees. They may earn their High School Letter too! The biggest perk though is a safe and fun place to spend time after school with nice kids and adults that share the same passion! We are all just a bunch of horse geeks!

If you are interested in any of these positions please text me at:

Do not pm me as I won’t see it.

Thank-You!

"It's Not a Hobby. It's a Lifestyle." - The Plaid Horse Magazine By PONYMOMAMMY    I don’t care how avid an enthusiast someone is for their tennis hobby; it’s just not the same as being a rider. You know how when you meet someone new and you are trying to have small talk to feel out if this could be a potential friend, or if you should […]

You Need To Slow Down: Lower-Level Jumper Classes Shouldn’t Be A Steeplechase 03/24/2021

Trainers please do your jobs, slow them down and save lives. ❤️🙏🏽

You Need To Slow Down: Lower-Level Jumper Classes Shouldn’t Be A Steeplechase People are often taught “safety first,” but why isn’t this mentality applied in lower-level jumper classes? As a professional in this industry, it is my due diligence to call attention to the dangers of speed classes in these jumper divisions. ...

How To Leave Your Horse Trainer and Stay On Good Terms - The Plaid Horse Magazine BY ANNA JONES You’ve probably heard of the Paul Simon song, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, but any equestrian will tell you there are just as many ways to leave your trainer. And while we’ve all heard stories where someone “slipped out the back Jack” and hauled their horses away in the middle ...
