Can we talk about CULTUREEEEE?! 🙌🏾🥰🕶👀

I had the opportunity to provide Culture training for Easterseals Georgia across THREE locations, with multiple schools and campuses represented at each training.

And when I tell you they showed UP—our Corporate Office location alone had more than 100 early childhood professionals in the room! 👏🏾

We spent our time talking about something that impacts almost everything that happens inside a child care program: WORKPLACE CULTURE!

Policies matter.
Training matters.
Rules matter.

But culture influences what people actually DO every day.

We talked about habits, COMMUNICATION, expectations, accountability, and those little things that can eventually become “just how we do things around here.”

Okay, I really have to get better about posting the trainings I get to do! 😂

I had such a good time with the team at Seeds of Wonder. We learned, asked questions, laughed, and had some great conversations about putting what we learn into practice.

But apparently I made myself ALL the way at home. 😂

I stayed for lunch, discovered their very impressive collection of fidget gadgets, and somehow a few of those came home with me. 🤣

These are the parts of training that I love. Yes, I'm there to teach, but I also genuinely enjoy getting to know the people and programs I work with.

Thank you, Seeds of Wonder, for having me, feeding me 😂, and investing in your team. I truly enjoyed spending time with you all! 💛

Now I just need to actually POST the pictures from all these places I go. 😩😂 I'm working on it!

And sometimes the problem isn't that you don't HAVE a policy.

Your policy says one thing.
Your staff were trained on it.

We are fighting germs this Back to School season!

As we prepare our classrooms what are we using to disinfect surfaces? Have you taken the time to read the label?
Have you acknowledged the wait time or nah?
According to Clorox wipes, the surface has to remain wet for 4 minutes to kill the 99.9%.

Please dont kill the messenger if you haven’t read the instruction. 🫣

Lets kill germs not people! LOL
