Today our students and staff at Santa Cruz Elementary had some very special visitors! 🐾💛 Therapy dogs Honey and Lexi stopped by to spread smiles, comfort, and lots of tail wags throughout the school.
The joy and calm they brought to our classrooms and hallways made everyone’s day a little brighter. Thank you to Honey, Lexi, and their handlers for sharing your time and kindness with our school community! 🐶✨

Second graders in Mrs. Bird’s class traveled back in time to learn about the amazing artist Michelangelo and his work on the Sistine Chapel! After discovering how he painted while lying on his back high above the chapel floor, students got the chance to experience it for themselves by creating their own masterpieces under their desks. 🎨✨
There were lots of giggles, creativity, and appreciation for the hard work Michelangelo must have done. What a fun and memorable way to bring history and art to life!

Ms. Abramson's class had a science day and conducted science experiments all day! They tested gummy bears in different solutions, created gas with soda and Pop Rocks, learned about UV rays with solar beads, and engineered roller coasters!

Career Day at was a howlin’ success! 🐾

Our Coyotes had the chance to learn from dentists, firefighters, veterinarians, and more professionals on Friday. Thank you to all of our guest speakers for inspiring students and helping them explore future careers! 💜

🌟 What a ROAR-some performance! 🦁🎭

A huge round of applause to the incredible 3rd graders at Santa Cruz Elementary for bringing *The Lion King* to life! From the colorful costumes to the confident singing and acting, these young stars truly shined on stage. 🌅✨

It was amazing to see their hard work, creativity, and teamwork pay off in such a fun and memorable show. You could feel the energy and excitement in every scene—what a talented group!

Bravo to the students, teachers, and everyone who helped make this production possible. We’re so proud of you! 👏💛

Multicultural night shone brightly, thanks to the collective effort of families and community members who gathered to celebrate our diverse heritage and explore the richness of cultures worldwide.
