Congratulations to Samson on his first solo flight!

This one was well earned. Samson has been ready for a couple of weeks now, but Arizona winds had other plans on each of his scheduled solo days. That patience? That decision-making? That’s all part of the aviation journey. Knowing when to wait, making wise calls, and then taking to the skies when the moment is right — that’s how good pilots are built.

We also love the full-circle moment—Gerald’s brother Kesav was flying with us a few years ago, and now Gerald is officially a private pilot too!

Huge congratulations to Captain Abdul on crushing his Commercial checkride today! 🎉✈️

Abdul’s journey with Alpha Kilo Aviation has been nothing short of awesome. He came to us ready to finish strong—stepping in at the final stretch of his Private Pilot checkride on September 29th, then immediately diving into Instrument + Commercial training with focus and momentum. On November 27, he successfully completed his Instrument checkride, and just two weeks later, he wrapped up his Commercial checkride like a pro.

We’re proud to have Abdul in the Alpha Kilo family, and we can’t wait to see where he takes his aviation journey.
