It's Fire Prevention Week — and this year's theme is lithium-ion battery safety. Four rules from a guy who owns a dozen batteries:

1️⃣ Charge on a hard, flat surface — never the couch, bed, or buried under rags.
2️⃣ Use the charger that came with the tool. Knockoffs damage batteries.
3️⃣ E-bikes & scooters charge in the garage or outside — never blocking your exit.
4️⃣ Swollen, smoking, or scorching hot? Stop using it. Now. And unplug when it's full.
