WHY GROUP PIANO? These are some of the things I love most about Presto piano lessons (for ages 7-12):

- 🥳the curriculum is rooted in PLAY, we alternate between piano time and full body learning in the “active area” with games and activities

- 🎼the kids love to be in a small group with their peers, it’s way more fun than sitting at a piano for half an hour, and it also gets them used to performing without anxiety

- 🎓they learn music theory that I was learning as a senior in highschool (chord inversions, transposing between keys, etc)

- 🌎 we focus on gaining complete musicianship, not just piano skills; kids learn music history, rhythm, notation, and more - with this foundation learning any instrument in the future will be easier

- 🌟 the two year program culminates in the kids composing and performing their own song - it’s SO cool!

Weekly one hour classes start August 26/27. Available class times are Wednesdays at 4:00, 5:15, or 6:30.

I’ve been preaching this lately! Small daily practice makes BIG progress. One of my students was incentivized (go Hali Newbold!) over the summer to practice every day and man oh man! He leveled up big time and he’s enjoying playing piano more than ever! Daily practice, even just a little, makes the biggest difference in getting better at your instrument!
