We love books here, so much creativity is encouraged throughout each book.
One of my students who loves to color the doodles asked me if this was a peacock or a turkey, I said I thought it was a turkey but now I see it like a peacock?!? So we settled it by calling it a Peackey!!

I had a wonderful first week of lessons of 2023 after being hit by the flu on January 1st 😣
Several of my students finished their Glissando books from and the oldest kiddos picked out their first pop songs to play with Pop Song Cascade Method!
I can’t wait to see how far these little musicians go this new year!

Do you have tiny musicians in your studio? 🎵
I was able to modify method by color coding it for this cutie who’s just 3 years old. I used the tokens from .shoppe staff board to mark the keys.

Can 3 year olds play chords? Yes! Yes they can!! ✅
My friend Jodi from has the perfect piano books for little musicians and helps them play melodies and chords very early!
Diego enjoys playing chords and sing made up songs at the end of our lesson!

Big day for T! She was finally introduced to the music staff! 🎼
I am really proud of her fast progress from finger numbers songs this spring to note letters songs and now transitioning to the staff.
Manipulatives are a huge hit in my studio and the best way to introduce new concepts.
The staff and notes pictured are from Piano Beginners Kit ❤️
