Everett will be attending St. John’s University and Chris will be heading to Bethel University in the fall.

The Maple Grove (MN) varsity basketball team has a neutral playoff game vs. Apple Valley (MN) on Thursday, March 26 @ 8p.
This game is a part of the "2026 MSHSL Boys Basketball State Championships (Minnesota) - Class AAAA" tournament.

Six months before high school tryouts… and the preparation has already begun.

We, as Captain Parents are meeting monthly to ensure every event is mapped out, timelines are set, and nothing falls through the cracks.

We’ve already secured our 2026 Soccer Banquet date — 11/18/2026 — so mark your calendars!

Strong seasons don’t just happen — they’re built with intention, organization, and teamwork behind the scenes.

Grateful for the leadership and commitment that’s already setting the tone for what’s ahead. 👏⚽

Reminder to parents: Training is done at 4:30 for all. Please be respectful of our volunteers time and pick your son up promptly as our volunteers are giving up time in their day so your son can train. Your tardiness delays their departure as they need to wait for all students to be picked up before leaving as the dome is not technically opened to the public during our trainings.

Our MGFC family could really use some extra love and support right now.

Chelsey Fischer (Scheller), a 2006 Maple Grove Senior High graduate and former captain of the Maple Grove girls soccer team, is currently battling stage 4 breast cancer. Chelsey and her family have deep roots with the Maple Grove soccer program, both on the girls and boys side — she, along with her husband Jake Fischer, siblings Brandon, David, Ryan & Rachel and their parents all played pivotal roles in the early 2000’s as captains, players, coaches and Booster leads. Their impact on our club and community has been truly meaningful.

Please join us on January 17th for a fundraiser to support Chelsey and her family as they navigate this incredibly difficult journey. Let’s come together the way MGFC always does — with strength, compassion, and love.
