Good morning, y’all! ☀️

Nothing beats homemade food made with love. ❤️ Today I got to enjoy one of my all-time favorites—homemade Gorditas, VBH style! 🤠

A huge thank you to my mother, Perita, and my Aunt Maribel for taking the time to make them. These gorditas bring back so many great childhood memories, and every bite reminds me of home. There truly is nothing like homemade cooking.

They were absolutely delicious! Thank y’all so much for the love, the memories, and an amazing meal. I love y’all! 🙏❤️

What a day! 🔥☀️🥵

Man oh man… today was one for the books! It started off a little slow, and for a while we weren’t sure how the day was going to go. But little by little, people started coming by, word spread, and before we knew it, the BBQ kept rolling out of the VBH window. We couldn’t have asked for a better finish to the day!

A huge THANK YOU to The C.A.N.E. Foundation and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® – Psi Mu Omega Chapter for inviting Velasquez Brisket House to be the Official Food Vendor for the 3rd Annual Health & Wellness Fair. It was truly an honor to be part of an event dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and giving back to our community.

Thank you to all of our loyal VBH customers, followers, and everyone who stopped by for some BBQ today. Whether you came for breakfast, lunch, or just to say hello, we appreciate every one of you. Your support allows us to continue doing what we love.

A very special thank you to my beautiful wife, Marcella, and the entire VBH Crew. Today tested us! The temperature outside felt like 110°, and inside the food trailer it was easily pushing 120°. 🥵 Food truck life isn’t glamorous—it’s hot, it’s hard work, and it’s long hours. But we keep pushing through with teamwork, plenty of water, electrolytes, and a passion for serving great Texas BBQ.

Today wasn’t just about selling BBQ. It was about being part of a community, meeting new people, reconnecting with familiar faces, and giving back. We’re grateful for the opportunity and already looking forward to the next event.
