💙🧡 MNW FCCLA at Fall Rally 🧡💙

On September 21, 10 students from MNW FCCLA traveled to Iowa State University in Ames for the 2026 Iowa FCCLA Fall Leadership Rally!

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to meet and network with FCCLA members from across the state, learn more about FCCLA, compete in Iowa Events, and explore the Culinary Food Science major at Iowa State University.

We are also excited to celebrate our students who competed in Iowa Events and represented MNW! 🎉

🥉 Griffin Reuter (Level 1): Trendy Drink Challenge - 3rd Place
🥇 Paityn Miller (Level 1): Trendy Drink Challenge - 1st Place
🥇 Abby Allen (Level 1): FCCLA Spirit Wear - 1st Place
🥇 Stella Wood (Level 1): $15 Meal Challenge - 1st Place
🥈 Kylie O’Neill (Level 3): Children’s Literature - 2nd Place
🥈 Ella Durbin (Level 2): $15 Meal Challenge - 2nd Place

We also had Fairon Jensen, Haylee Flowers, and Adrianna Ohrtman attend Fall Rally to learn more about FCCLA, network with other members, and support their classmates as they competed!

I’m so incredibly proud of all of our students for stepping outside of their comfort zones, trying something new, and representing MNW! It was a great day and an exciting start to the year for MNW FCCLA!

A little throwback to where it all started!

I joined MNW as the Family Consumer Sciences teacher during 3rd trimester last school year, and I never got the chance to share all of the great things my students were doing!!

Before I catch you up on everything in FCs this school year, I want to go back to Spring 2026 and share a few highlights from my first few months at MNW.

From cooking and creating to learning real-world skills, we packed a lot into those first few months!

👋 Hello, MNW families and community!

My name is Ms. Bezoni, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Family Consymer Sciences (FCS) teacher at Manson Northwest Webster!

We have already had a busy start to the school year in the FCs classroom, and I’m excited to get this page back up and running so you can see some of the awesome things our students are learning and creating.

From cooking and child development to interior design, life skills, FCCLA, and more, there is always something happening in FCS!

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some highlights from our first trimester so far along with some pictures from third trimester last year and updates about what our students & MNW FCCLA are currently working on.

I’m looking forward to a great year and can’t wait to share a little glimpse into the FCS classroom with you! 🧡💙

March 23-25, 2025 MNW FCCLA Chapter Members, Colby Bacon and Brayden Bush, along with their Adviser, Mrs. Heather Hull, attended the Iowa FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Cedar Rapids. Colby and Brayden earned 1st place for their Level 1 Cake Decorating project and a Silver Medal for their Level 1 Sports Nutrition STAR Event project and presentation. They were just two points away from being eligible to be selected to compete at the National FCCLA Leadership Conference with their Sports Nutrition project. Colby, Brayden, and Mrs. Hull came away with LOTS of information and ideas for our local chapter while attending the conference. If you see either Colby or Brayden, please congratulate them. The future looks bright for MNW FCCLA!

Having a great time at ! Drove the 2 1/2 hours to the event had our cake decorating competition yesterday. Sports Nutrition STAR Event today along with some breakout sessions and the business meeting. Finishing out the night with some fun and games. All done tomorrow when we will see how our projects were rated and head for home.
