Class of 1993!!! Today is the day!

Tonight The Brickyard is hosting Final Friday’s. From 5:30-10:30. I’m sure there will be some classmates coming at 5:30pm and others at 7:00pm. Please make sure you have your lawn chairs. If there are air quality concerns please wear a mask 😷 and/or we will see if we can move it inside for a Plan B. I will keep everyone updated.

Saturday, July 1st is at Baker’s Cornerstone Bar & Grille 586 Park Ave E at 7 pm!

It's finally here ya'll!
I want to apologize for the delay in getting this information out to you. Charge it to my head and not my heart!
Andrea Cook Katie Wade and I have been talking about this reunion since January and I misread the location. This information would have been put out back earlier. I know I'm not the only one with toddlers still running around. I was in a car accident on April 15th, job loss and not the only one that has endured a lot. We all have had so much that's happened in the last 5 years. I hope and pray that as many of you that can; will come out and meet us at The Brickyard on June 30th at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm but that's our time. Also, bring a lawn chair for just in case.
We are still working out some kinks for Saturday so stay tuned for that and more polls. I know🤣

Another classmate doing big things. Congratulations!!!!

The Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office of Melissa A. Schiffel is proud to recognize Delaware County Sheriff Detective Rashad Pitts as a “Top Cop.”

Detective Pitts is recognized for his efforts in investigating a child ra**st and pe*****le.

His empathy and caring shone through to a terrified victim, who did not want to talk about the atrocities she’d suffered. In a taped interview, you can see Detective Pitts sit down with the victim. He starts simply by saying – “You are safe now.” With that assurance, the victim breaks down and lets go of a flood of emotion and relief. It’s Detective Pitts’ level of compassion, while still maintaining a difficult investigation, that makes him a “Top Cop.”

The defendant in this case passed away before the case got to trial, but because of Detective Pitts’ efforts, the victims (the defendant’s daughter and granddaughter) got justice. Too often we place the value of justice on a conviction, but it can take many forms. In this case, justice was served when Detective Pitts took the time to listen to the victims, to believe them. He made it clear he stood with them, and they were safe. The perpetrator had been exposed for the monster he really was.
