Today was our forst online spring recital of 2026!

Yes, you read this correct. I have made a most difficult decision.

Practice is now required in our studio.

This decision has been made after careful thought over many months. You see, I want my students to reach their highest potential, and I want to give the best value possible to each family.

This can only be reached by putting in daily practice time.

So, starting June 1, all students will be required to log a minimum of hours per level.

So, set your reminders, alarms, make sticker charts, or pair practice with a desired activity. Make a plan to succeed. Parents, your role is that of chief reminder and cheerleader. But the results are worth it.

Thank you for your cooperation. I am SO excited to see how each student grows over the coming months and years.

Recital time!

Thanks to all who played and attended the Bedford recital last evening!

And, I'd like to give a huge thank you to my mom who provided SO much food for the reception afterward.

A few years ago a teary eyed younger student asked this question about an upcoming recital.

"But what happens if I mess up?"

Students, please hear me when I say I am proud of you. You can't change that no matter what happens during the recital. So go up there, do your best, and we will ALL go downstairs and eat cookies afterward! 🍪
