Works with victims of crime/traumatic events, community, schools, hospitals, senior centers, first responders, etc.

Matteo's & Minka, of the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office, would like to thank Pastor T.J. Grooms and his staff of the Unity Christian Church - Alcolu, South Carolina for inviting us to participate in their 7-week Youth Summer Camp!!!! We always feel welcome and like one of the family when we attend events at this amazing church! As Pastor T.J. tells us, we are not guests but part of their family! We visited over 90 youth and enjoyed all the hugs and smiles.

We look forward to visiting again next week. There will also be other deputies from the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office participating next week in the camp as well. Contact Unity Christian Church - Alcolu, South Carolina for more information!

Matteo's & Minka of the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office enjoyed visiting the University of South Carolina Sumter's Youth in Blue Summer Camp Program. Children ages 9-14 enjoyed a week of exploring the world of criminal justice. They learned about tactical operations, SWAT, aviation, K9 programs, forensics, and more! This camp is co-hosted by Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, City of Sumter Police Department, and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Matteo & Minka of the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office have started their summer off in a busy way! We are just now catching our breath to catch up on the events of the last few weekends. It was a HOT DAY in New Zion for their 1st annual Art in the Park. We got to see some beautiful works of art from various artists!

Matteo& Minka of the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office enjoyed meeting and greeting the public this past weekend at the Bassmaster Santee Cooper 2026 Fishing Tournament! We got to see some old friends and as always, made some new ones. We had so much fun!

HATS OFF TO Caroline Massey Buyck of the Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce and Camlin Darby of Destination Clarendon for making this year another success! It was a huge job to pull off and they did it well!

Last week Matteo & Minka of the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office had their first out-of-state trip last week to Gatlinburg, TN. We got to see bears our very first day IN TOWN! The pups are just like their parents---totally in love with the mountains!!!

Even though it was a rainy day at BirdFest 2026, Matteo of the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office hung out with a bear, met and played with Roscoe and loved on some cute and adorable children!
