It’s hard to believe we are 3 years shy of our 40th anniversary of graduating high school. Happy Mother’s Day to the ladies in the Class of 1988!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear Class of 1988 Forman Braves classmate, Terri Shappaugh Taylor. According to her daughter’s Facebook, Terri fought bravely through her illness, but last night, she found peace.

She was a kind soul, a cherished classmate.

Please keep Terri’s family and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time. May she rest in peace, and may we hold on to the memories that remind us of her beautiful spirit.

Can you believe it’s been 37 years since we graduated from high school? As we welcome 2025, let’s take a moment to rewind to 1988, the year of big hair, iconic music, and unforgettable memories. Here’s a look back at some of the trends that shaped our world:

🎶 Music: Michael Jackson’s Bad tour was everywhere, and hair metal bands like Guns N’ Roses and Bon Jovi were blasting on our stereos. Meanwhile, hip-hop legends like N.W.A. and Public Enemy were shaking things up.

🎥 Movies: We laughed with Beetlejuice, held our breath during Die Hard (Is that’s Christmas movie now?!), and fell in love with Rain Man.

👗 Fashion: Shoulder pads ruled, neon colors lit up our closets, and Aqua Net kept our teased hair sky-high.

As we gather around the table tomorrow, let’s take a moment to reflect on the memories of growing up in the best era ever—the 80s!

From cruising with mixtapes and wasting gasoline, to rocking to hairbands, to watching Saturday morning cartoons and living life before the internet changed everything—we have so much to be thankful for!
