GradBash’22 is over and it was a huge success. In the coming week or two our small but mighty committee will “debrief” and publish a thank you to all donors who made the event possible. In the meantime - some details and reflections:
The event was held at Craig’s Cruisers - a phenomenal venue!
93 graduates attended (maybe 94 - further analysis pending😂)
26 chaperones volunteered 😀!
50 prizes purchased from or donated by local business - not including 45 gift certificates from local favorite Big Al’s!
Every attendee received a gift card from Meijer!
Food - there was a lot of it!🍕🍝🥗🍦
In February of this year we thought we may need to cancel due to lack of funds and the uncertainty of Covid. Due to the dedicated efforts of Angela Rank Monroe, Jamie Spencer Tabaczka, Lisa Preston Eckhardt, Mary Reid, Mindy Dalke, and others, over $20,000 was raised to ensure the event would occur in a grand fashion!
We so appreciated the bus drivers who stayed up to drive us and Manistee Area Public Schools Nutrition services for providing breakfast grab and go meals for our tired and hungry attendees.
So while more thanks is coming - for now - know GradBash came back stronger than ever after a two year absence because of a great community who cares about providing a safe and memorable graduation night experience. Thank you Manistee! And now we rest!😂 (and we look forward to handing the torch over to the GradBash 23 Committee - contact us anytime!)💙💛💙

Heading home! ETA 8:30. Prize pick up will be at the high school back by the recycling - must claim all prizes today!

It’s 10:30 on a Saturday night, we’ve got a full pack of water bottles, HIT IT!
Bus number 2 is rocking - hope bus numbers 7 and 8 are doing great!

Grad Bash is in a few short hours! We will have waivers available after the graduation ceremony - we must have a signed waiver before students board the busses at 9 pm!
If you are 18 you can sign for yourself, otherwise we need a parent or guardian to sign.

Grad Bash is FREE - all food 🌮🍩🍦transportation 🚌to and from the event, and the awesome event🎉🎊🥳 itself is included. Thanks to generous donors and an awesome committee - Grad Bash ‘22 raised over $20,000!!! 💸💵🤑
We have a gift for every single student that signed up (96) plus over 50 prizes you’ll have a chance to win! 🏆
Waivers must be signed to board the bus 👍- we start loading up about 8:45 pm.
Wear comfortable clothes , leave all valuables at home, and be ready to have fun!
Busses return by 8:30 am ish Sunday morning and all prizes must be claimed and collected at that time!

GradBash22 committee did not SKIP out today - we enjoyed the weather while wrapping up details on the awesome prizes and the overall event - FREE for all MAPS Seniors! 💙💛💙

Make sure waivers are signed and turned in - the busses leave at 9 pm in 9 days! (pick one up at the office or scroll down for the link - or email [email protected] - or have a parent or guardian sign the night of graduation if you’re under 18)
