Up next is our treasurer, Zane Burton! Zane is from Overland Park, KS and is majoring in Finance with a minor in Personal Financial Planning. After graduation, he plans to obtain his CFP and/or CFA while working in financial services. Zane joined Mortar Board to broaden his horizons and expand his impact at K-State. π

Next up is our President, Teaghan Morton! Teaghan is from Golden, Colorado and is majoring in Athletic Training and Rehabilitation Services and minoring in French and Leadership Studies. After graduation, Teaghan plans to be an athletic trainer. She joined Mortar Board to be a part of a community where volunteering and developing leaders for the future was a priority.π

Introducing Kara as our next member spotlight! Kara is from Santanta, KS and is majoring in Family & Consumer Science Education with minors in Well Being and Human Development & Family Sciences. After graduating, Kara plans to teach FCS in a middle or high school while also attending grad school. She joined Mortar Board to better her leadership skills and gain more scholarship and service opportunities alongside her peers. π

Happy Meet a Member Monday! Introducing Caitlin Sand! Caitlin is from Lawrence, Kansas and she is majoring in environmental science and social transformation studies. After graduation, she plans to attend grad school and go into a career in geographic information systems. She joined Mortar Board to get more involved in the community and to be around people dedicated to education and service. π
