I've had a few folks ask me to share the vintage photos that were in Sunday evening's slideshow, and I think I've figured out how to share them in SkyDrive. Here's the second one (and I apologize for the quality and the fact I didn't start at the beginning ... This was a spur-of-the-moment thing for someone not fully engaged in capabilities of iPhone technology!). I hope others will share more ... It was such a treat to experience Dawayne's amazing music ... What an incredible talent.

I am looking forward to our 40th class reunion. As you all know the "aging process" started at age 49, for some of you it was 35. Except for a little gray hair and about 5 pounds. I look pretty much the same as I did in '72. However it will be great see all of you once again.

After the "Come and Get Together" event Saturday, May 26, at Colbert Hills Clubhouse 5:30 - 7:00, we would like to invite you all to come hear The Ray Baker Project. Pamela and I will be performing at the Bluestem Bistro, 1219 Moro St., from 8-10 pm.

We know that you will enjoy hearing great jazz from swing, bebop, funk jazz, smooth jazz and you can salsa dance to some of our Latin jazz tunes. Again, looking forward to our 40-year class reunion, be safe and see you in a few weeks.

I've been hunting in my attic and I've already found some choice photos for the reunion slideshow. I thought I'd share one, especially with the hope that you'll get inspired and hunt down some of your own to share with the class. (Just send scanned images to [email protected].) The negatives to these photos have been lost, but I'm amazed at what I could pull off a ragged old contact sheet.
