CDL has short, fun online studies that look into how children learn, explain, and form beliefs about the world around them!

Our studies are geared toward understanding and building children's motivation in subjects like math and science. If you are interested in having your child participate, you can fill out this survey, https://nyu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6PAOoX6CP6LHtAx and we will contact you in 1-2 business days.

Hello! This summer, the Cognitive Development Lab at NYU is seeking new participants for free, IRB approved, online studies for children between the ages of 4-14 from the US or Canada. The studies take about 30 minutes and your child will receive a $5 Amazon gift card after the session as a thank you for participating. There are no right or wrong answers to the questions, making kids think through their own explanations for the world! If you’re interested in having your child participate, please sign up via https://bit.ly/nyucdlsignup to provide some basic information about you and your child and we’ll reach out to you to schedule an appointment!
