To all wonderful humans working in arts & entertainment;
It’s not always easy, and especially in this time of discourse and change for everyone. New ways of living and being have happened over night, severely impacting the way we were operating. However, that doesn’t mean that new positive life habits and a better quality of working within the industry are not on the horizon. In the meantime, while the majority of us have been pushed out of job roles, recurring work, gigs and venues, that we previously counted on as seasonal and continuous work- we are challenged to look elsewhere for income. It’s a hard pill to swallow. That doesn’t mean you can’t find work and apply your skills in a manner that gives you something positive in return. Challenge yourself to think outside the box at this time, or look for work where you may have typically not before. The arts still exist. There are still events, shows and performing taking place. It has just shifted location. Remind yourself; your work is still important. You still have a job to do for others. You can still get where you were going. 💙

One of the goals of BTGC is to provide opportunity but also to create working scenerios where the aspiring individual is able to get a feel for how particular elements of the Music Industry function. Our focus for this project was on live filming-recording/perfomance and work as a studio session musican.
