One of the most powerful performances of our Gala Concert came from our viola teacher, Lukas Shrout, and our piano teacher, Charlotte Hill, as they brought Rebecca Clarke’s Viola Sonata to life.
Clarke’s music demands everything-richness, intensity, vulnerability, and strength-Lukas and Charlotte delivered all of it with breathtaking artistry. Their collaboration was a reminder of how extraordinary it is for our students to learn from musicians who don’t just teach technique, but live the craft of performance at the highest level.
At Pluckd Studio, this is what sets our faculty apart. Our teachers are active performers, continually refining artistry so they can bring that depth and authenticity back to their students. Nights like this show exactly why that matters.

Our talented students will be spreading joy and love through music and crafting shamrocks for the senior residents.☘️🎶🎻🎹
Our 2022 Spring Concert featured an unforgettable performance by two Pluckd Studio Alums; Elizabeth Levine and Alex Hom in the grand finale-a stunning rendition of Vivaldi's Concert for Four Violins in B Minor. This moment is extra special as it marks director, Roslyn Huang's final performance as she transitions from performing and teaching to a more administrative role.
Having witnessed these students grow from elementary school to present day is truly heartwarming. Elizabeth is currently enrolled in the Pre College Program of The Manhattan School of Music and Alex is now a junior at Georgia Tech. Regardless of where life takes them, they always come back to our school for a visit. ❤️
