Manatee Homeschool

Big changes are coming at Manatee Homeschool. After 30 years I will be retiring from doing homeschool evaluations. I will really miss meeting with many wonderful homeschool moms and dads and students each year, but my teaching certificate expires at the end of June 2026 and I will not be renewing it.
Praise the Lord, my dear friend, Sarah W, will be taking my place at Manatee Homeschool and will continue doing evaluations like I have always done. She is also considering offering a few other services for homeschooling too.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Kim Kisacky and I homeschooled my three children for 13 years in Manatee County. I am also a State of Florida certified teacher who has done homeschool evaluations for 29 years. I try to make the evaluation process as stress free as possible. Many students and par...

It has been a very hot summer, but it is not too hot to get your evaluation for homeschool done. School has started, but I do homeschool evaluations year-round. Click below for all the info about my evaluations.

It is the middle of July and I am doing homeschool evaluations. I do them in person at my home, on zoom, and also on Facetime.

I was away for 10 days in July, but I am home now for the rest of the summer.

Sure feels like summer in Florida. So hot! I am busy doing homeschool evaluations this summer, but I will be away from June 27 until July 7. If you need an evaluation I can do it before or after those dates. Try to stay cool!

Azaleas are blooming in Florida. That means that it won’t be long before it is time for annual homeschool evaluations! I do evaluations all year round, but a lot are done from May until July. See my website for all the details. Manateehomeschool.com

Happy New Year from Manatee Homeschool! I just did 4 homeschool evaluations this week to start the new year right. Pictured are a few of the pets of the homeschoolers. I asked if these guys were Thanksgiving survivors. 😀

Merry Homeschool Christmas and a Happy New Year! I’m looking forward to doing your evaluations in a few months or whenever you need one. I do them year round you know.

Can you believe it is almost Thanksgiving? I hope your school year is fabulous. Here is a free concert you can add to your music program.

I am so excited for you to come to one of the concerts presented by the Gulf Coast Flute Choir. Our new director, Dr. Nicolas Real, is extremely talented and what he has added to the program will have you dancing. 25 flute players including yours truly will present songs for the Christmas and Hanukkah season as well as a few other pieces that you will enjoy. Both concerts are free! We hope to see you there.

It's still hot. Summer is almost over (we hope) and I am doing homeschool evaluations. It is an easy process of showing me what your student did last year. I write up a report and email it to you and the county or a homeschool organization you are working with. Then I send you a hard copy of the report for your records. Easy peasy!
Please take a look at my website. It should answer most of your questions.

I hope you are looking forward to another great homeschool year.

Travel time this summer: I will be out of town on vacation this summer, but still plan to do all the evaluations that I usually do. No need to find another way to get your evaluations done.
