We had a great time at Field Day yesterday! What a great way to end the school year!

Tomorrow, June 15th is the last day of school. Dismissal will begin at 12:30.

Field Day is tomorrow, June 14th! Make sure you bring water, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, towel, and a change of clothes. Be prepared to have fun and get wet with the water games.

In June 2023, Yorkshire Elementary School was designated as a No Place for Hate school through a certification process. This designation means we are focusing on proactively addressing bias and bullying through conversations and activities at school. Prince William County Public Schools

Due to predicted inclement weather on Monday, Field Day will now be WEDNESDAY, JUNE 14th! Thank you for your understanding!

Our Title I and second grade teams joined forces to defeat the dreaded summer slide. Second grade students and families had the opportunity to design a book bag, decorate book marks, receive a personalized bag of books, get math games with manipulatives, apply for a library card and register for summer school. They especially enjoyed the prizes. We don’t summer slide, we Summer Thrive!!!!!!

This past Saturday was the PWCS Robotics Fun Day. Our kids did an amazing job working together, interacting with students from other schools and representing Yorkshire. There was even a graduating senior who previously attended Yorkshire, which was great for our kiddos to see.
