Law enforcement officers are required to requalify annually. For many that's the only time they'll use their firearm. As deficient as that sounds (as a proficiency system) it's significantly more than most conceal carry holders.

Concealed carry holders (in contrast) ...

- Never have to qualify to carry
- Are heavily scrutinized for their actions (justified or not)
- Must train as "concealed" vs external carry
- Must be able to respond alone

The Defensive Shooting Fundamentals course is one of the most advanced "user-based" courses available to prepare a concealed carry holder for a critical incident.

Spending time at the range will not get it done without a foundation of conditioning.
