It’s taken me three years of training and four attempts to be successful.
Relieved is the best way to describe how I felt.

How to Stay Warm on a Cold Spring Day
These late “winter” or early spring storms can be cold and unforgiving. Having a solid base layer is critical for staying warm.
For example, I’ve been using the Ridge Merino Inversion Heavy Weight Base layer, Banked Merino Socks, and Long Boxer Briefs. This base layer helps me regulate temperature, is moisturizer wicking, and is incredibly soft.
I highly recommend getting a solid base layer from Ridge Merino. They are located in Mammoth Lakes, are made with natural fibers, and make for great gifts or souvenirs.
