5th grade incoming parents! Join us on Wednesday, February 11th at 9:30am for a presentation with Principal Schellenberg and Counselor Whitehouse!

At 10:30, our fantastic Middle School ASB will lead participants on a tour of our school with the perspective and insight that only a student can give.

Our next POMS meeting is Friday, February 13th from 9-10am and you do not want to miss this one!

Parents of Middle Schoolers (POMS) are all welcome to join other parents, the Principal and Counselor for middle school coffee talk and middle school updates. Join us at our next POMS meeting in the PCR on Friday, February 13th from 9am-10am.

Special guests this month will be our MHS Counselors along with our MHS Athletic Director. Malibu High School counselors will speak about transitioning to high school, course options, 4-year plans, and more!

Mr. Neier, our MHS Athletic Director, will speak about how sports play a part in high school.

Malibu Middle School will be presenting Shrek the Musical Jr. on February 26th, 27th, and 28th at 7:00 PM and March 1st at 1:00 PM in the MHS auditorium.

“Shrek’s unique story of discovery encourages each of us to examine our prejudices, review what we believe to be our limitations and work to better understand ourselves and others” says Freddie Gershon, CEO of Music Theatre International.

The family-friendly musical comedy follows the adventures of an ogre named Shrek who sets off on a quest to save a princess from a dragon. However, it turns out that in order to ultimately succeed, Shrek must battle an even bigger obstacle: learning how to believe in himself and open his heart to others.

Please join us for the Malibu Pathway Community Showcase on Saturday, January 24, from 9–11 a.m. at Malibu High School!

The event will highlight programs and opportunities at Webster Elementary, Malibu Elementary School, Malibu Middle School and Malibu High School, giving families a chance to learn more about academics, arts, athletics and signature programs across Malibu schools.

⏰Important- please read!!

🙅🏼‍♀️The good news is that we will not release your student to anyone who is not in their emergency contacts.

🤷‍♀️The bad news is that there are still many students without updated emergency contacts.

🤦‍♀️The really bad news is that our Attendance Office gets the brunt of it when they are just doing their job, keeping students safe.

💁🏼‍♀️What can you do? Just go into your Aeries Parent Portal, click on Student Info>>Contacts >>Add+ (Add+ is in the blue bar at the top of the Contacts section) and add anyone you can think of who may pick need to take your student from school.

🧍🏼‍♂️🧍🏿🧍🏽‍♀️Friends, relatives, team mates, neighbors, play groups… you name it. These are the folks who would pick your student up early for any reason… including an emergency evacuation!

🙂Bottom line- your student’s safety is SO important to us!

💻 Not able to get this done? No worries, just pop into Attendance and they will be happy to help you with this important step!
