Update: The “Shelter” due to severe weather has been lifted. Students and staff followed safety protocols. They are returning to class. School dismissal will take place at the scheduled time. We will be in contact if there will be significant bus delays. Students who walk home will be allowed to remain at school until conditions improve. Thank you for your attention and understanding.

🎓 Our VAHS seniors aren't the only ones taking a big step this season!

Today we celebrated the 8th grade students from Badger Ridge Middle School and Core Knowledge Charter School as they marked an important milestone at their promotion ceremonies.

We are proud of all they have accomplished and can't wait to see what they achieve next as members of the Class of 2030. Congratulations, students! 🧡🖤

🌪️🌋🌊 Our Glacier Edge third graders have been hard at work all year developing their reading, writing, research, and presentation skills!

As an end-of-the-year project, students created a Natural Disasters Museum, where they showcased their knowledge of powerful natural events through engaging displays and presentations. Families and fellow students had the opportunity to explore the museum, ask questions, and celebrate the incredible growth these learners have made throughout the year.

🎓🌎 A historic milestone for the Verona Area School District!

This year, we proudly celebrated the graduation of the inaugural class of our Two-Way Immersion (TWI) program. These students have completed 13 years of bilingual learning, cultural connection, and academic growth, becoming the first group of TWI graduates in VASD history.

Congratulations to our first-ever TWI graduates! We are so proud of all you have accomplished and excited to see where your bilingual skills, leadership, and experiences take you next🧡🎓

🎓🧡 One more walk through the halls that helped shape them.

This week, the Class of 2026 took part in the annual Senior Walk, visiting elementary and middle schools across the Verona Area School District. As they walked the hallways of their childhood schools, students were greeted with cheers, high-fives, and smiles from younger Wildcats who look up to them.

This year, the VAHS Yearbook Production students received the Gold Program of Excellence Award from Jostens yearbook company for the second year in a row!
🌟Only the top 2% of Jostens schools in the country earn this award. In order to earn this honor, students had to meet all deadlines, have a 70%+ yearbook purchase rate, and picture 50% or more of the student body three or more times in the yearbook! 🌟This year's student editors-in-chief were Anevaeh Gonzalez, Reya Lawrence, Tsinat Mamo, Reese Manning, Faith Rush, and Sophie Trias.
